About the Game
OpenGuessr is a free geo-guessing game that drops you into a 360° street view anywhere on Earth and challenges you to figure out where you are! Narrow down the continent, spot the country, zero in on the city, and pinpoint the exact street. The closer your guess to the real location, the higher your score.
How to Play
Explore the Surroundings: You start on a random road with zero hints. Move around the map and keep your eyes peeled for road signs, languages, vegetation, architectural styles, or even the color of the soil.
Make Your Guess: Once you've gathered enough clues, place your pin on the mini-map in the bottom-right corner and hit "Guess" to reveal how close you were!
Custom Locations and 5K places to guess!
Whether you're a casual player or a hardcore geography nerd, there’s a map built for your skill level:
Beginner Friendly: Start with Capital Cities or Famous Places to get your bearings, or practice on your home country.
Pro Challenge: Tackle the World map to test your skills across rural roads, remote wilderness, and obscure locations across the globe.
Community Creations: Explore over 5,000 custom, player-made maps to keep every round fresh and unpredictable!
