How to Play Chess on Blipzi

Once you've selected the perfect Chess Game on Blipzi, it's time to start off your match. The pieces are consistently arranged, and the player with white moves first. Each piece adheres to specific movement rules:

  • Rook: Moves in straight lines horizontally or vertically.
  • Bishop: Moves exclusively in diagonal lines.
  • Queen: Moves horizontally, vertically, and diagonally.
  • King: Moves in any direction, limited to one square per move.
  • Pawn: Advances only forward one square at a time. However, when the pawn is in its original position, it can move two squares forward.
  • Knight: Executes an "L" shape movement, covering two squares in any direction and one square in a perpendicular direction. It is the only piece with the ability to jump over others on the board.
